As the mother of an autistic daughter, Jones soon found that the Rochester community severely lacked the support services and programs her daughter and other ASD children needed to make the transition from high school to the adult community. In an effort to assist ASD children, offer support to families and advocate on their behalf, Jones created the council.
Ms. Jones has been Certified as an Autism Specialist and Autism Trainer by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES)
