Parents who have a child with ASD are often overwhelmed by the special needs of their child, and it can be difficult to find and understand the resources available to them. We will soon be expanding our services for parents of youth with ASD so that we can assist families with navigating the system of service providers, medical insurance, disability-related expenses, community programs, special education programs, and parent support groups. Our goal is to help advocate for the special needs of each youth with ASD. Due to the stress that these parents live with every day, marriages are often neglected. For single parents, raising a teenager can be even more challenging. We plan to help families stay healthy and strong with our family support programs.
