Autism Training Workshops

Please contact us at 585-413-1681 to learn more about these programs.

The Autism Council offers Autism Training Workshops to businesses, educators, medical providers, parents and community members. Our community must recognize the growing number of youth with Autism, and help these individuals reach their full potential through effective treatments and public awareness.

Autism Training workshops cover the following topics: teaching techniques to use with ASD clients, transition skills and services, Project Safety Net (preparing individuals for emergency situations), first responder training, community awareness of Autism and other related developmental disabilities, and SCIP-R (de-escalation techniques).

Specialized Curriculum

Teacher Training Workshops: Specific subjects for teachers who have students with Autism.

Autism Awareness Workshops: Topics are geared towards parents and the general community.
